The History of The Hope Center of Jackson
Our church started in 2010 with a group of 7 people in a living room. We began to worship and seek God, and the Lord began to give us a vision to BLESS our community through various outreaches. This is where our vision to Believe, Love, Encourage, Strengthen, & Serve was born. The first of many outreaches was called The Table, which still exists today, a community wide free dinner with an encouraging message and food to take home. ACTS 1:8 Street Ministry also began distributing food in the community, and still continues to this day feeding children weekly. Out of these outreaches, we began to see the need for having a church service for our community that would truly be welcoming to all. So we opened up a service to the public in February 2013, and we have been holding church services on Sunday Mornings ever since.
